Zoo Star Maker

The Lab

Picture this: a basement full of blinking machines, glowing liquids, and animals with very strong opinions about music.

Rana wants more swagger. Octopussa demands drama. La Costo adds danger. And the Roach just nods and makes it worse. We throw it all into the system and see what survives – every tap creates a next-level superstar mutation. Some turn into icons. Some turn into trouble ...

The Wild Ones have always preferred classics. Especially the upcoming ones.

Die Kakerlake

Legal-ish tiny print for the brave souls who actually read footers: ZooTube Records is a completely serious independent music label and creative project by Phil Bauch, run by highly professional animals, allegedly assisted by a few humans. Born somewhere between music production, visual storytelling and the questionable creative decisions usually associated with Phil Bauch Design, the Zoo operates from Málaga, Spain, while showing very little respect for conventional genre boundaries. Any resemblance to frogs, octopuses or suspiciously confident insects in designer suits is entirely intentional. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Deezer, Amazon Music and Tidal are trademarks of their respective owners — places where our music may appear, alongside other artists you may or may not admit listening to. All other brand names mentioned on this website belong to their rightful humans, corporations or mysterious entities in glass towers somewhere on the internet. ZooTube Records, Rana Mala, Octopussa and the rest of the wildlife are intellectual property of the Zoo. The Executive Producer of this establishment is known only as “Die Kakerlake”. Yes, that’s German. No, we are not translating it. He usually runs things from the basement and only rarely appears upstairs — unless food (or whatever he considers food) is involved. If you actually read this far, congratulations: you are now officially part of the Zoo.
